Aug. 4th---our last day in Seattle, WA.

Well, good folks---this has been a good day but one for the books---the traffic has been something else and the crowds at Pikes Market something to write home about---so many people you could hardly move around---needless to say we did not stay very long---did not take long to have our fill--the most interesting part was the fresh fish counters---they throw fish around like balls---it is too interesting---their "lingo and actions" were enjoyed by all-
wanted to get a picture of their actions but I was not fast enough with the camera---sorry---

A decision, we made today, we are not going on to Alaska---just decided it was bit much and will not go there. That can be an adventure for another time in another mode---the drive to go thru Canada would be gruelling--the roads are rough and we have just plain talked ourselves out of going there--we are enjoying ourselves doing our thing as is and we will continue our "round and about" travels---will be home in a couple of weeks---and we will have had a great trip--one to be labeled as a great, second honeymoon!!

Here are a few pictures that we took today---the traffic was so bad, I was helping Jack watch for signs in the hwy, I did not have time to do much picture taking---
This was one of the fresh markets--
This is looking out off the balcony of the third floor of part of the market toward the water.
Bad picture but a passer by took it of us---but we had fun!
This man standing out front of counter was the guy all the ladies were having their pictures made with---one "old lady" grabbed his butte---he almost jumped out of his shoes---it was too funny--

Ok---this is it for the night--hope everyone is doing well---sorry to hear of our friend, Charles Harkness, passing--he will be missed.

But to end on a light note--Aug. 10th is our grandson's birthday, Jackson is his name--he will be six years old---he is a joy to us and we are sorry
we are missing his party this Saturday---Happy Birthday, Jackson! Have a happy day!!

My nephew, Mickey Walker--that had a double lung transplant over a week ago-- continues to do well---God is Good!

Hugs to you all---love ya all
Marilyn and Jack
